Purple is a magical secondary color often associated with kings, queens, and wizards!
Purple (also called Violet) is a beautiful secondary color made by mixing two primary colors: Red and Blue. Throughout history, purple has been known as the color of royalty, magic, and wisdom. Because it was once very hard and expensive to make purple dye, only kings and queens could afford to wear it! Today, we see purple everywhere in nature, from delicious fruits to fragrant flowers.
Purple is a special color in nature because it is relatively rare. Many flowers use bright purple petals to attract bees and butterflies. Some animals also use purple to blend in with flowers or to warn predators that they might taste bad!
