This differs from our other alphabet worksheets in a key way: instead of tracing an isolated letter, students trace a full phrase — "Aa is for ant" — while coloring an animal illustrated as part of the giant letter itself. Read the phrase aloud together before tracing so students connect the sound of the whole phrase to the print, not just the shape of the letter.
