Turn country learning into a global adventure! After playing, show your child where the country is on a map or globe. Ask, “Have you heard of France?” or “What language do they speak in Japan?” This builds geography awareness, cultural curiosity, and early social studies skills in preschool and kindergarten learners.
What your child practices
This is a first introduction to the idea that the world is made of many countries, each with its own name, landmarks and culture. It builds geography vocabulary and curiosity, which children can then connect to a map or a globe.
Tips for grown-ups
